God's Gift

Asa is now 2 months old and is 12lbs 10oz.
He is so calm and easy going.  He is quick to
give out smiles and little breathing giggles - hope
to catch this on camera soon to share with you.
Asa and I have worked out a routine now when he
eats (this is an good example of how easy this babe
has been).  He nurses for about 10 minutes then stops. I sit him up- within seconds he burps (no patting needed) and then he poops.  This takes no more than a minute or two and then he goes back to nursing for about 10 minutes more.  Our nursing sessions have worked this way for about a month.  The burp thing is amazing -  Easy Asa!
Last night I fed him at 9pm and he began to stir at 5am- when I got in his room he was back asleep and did not wake up until 7am!  We a so blessed to have another sweet son.  With Owen's constant energy, I was praying for God to help me - His Asa creation
is a pure answer to prayer in so many ways which I continue to discover.  I was worried about so
many things and God has taken care of everything so
much better than I could have even hoped for-why am I surprised???  Why do we ever worry!! I am so undeserving of His blessings! "Be still and know I am God!"  Thank you Father again and again!!

growing relationship

Owen is loving being a big brother.  We all knew he would be a big helper and that
is very true.  He is so sweet to see in this way- We are looking forward to watching them
grow closer and closer.
